Welcome to the 2020 EMSAC Virtual Conference Schedule, below you will find the schedule listed with 3 types of education sessions, Live, Pre-recorded and bonus track. They will all be delivered a little differently so please take a little time to read the descriptions and understand how the conference will be laid out.

  • Live Sessions: EMSAC is offering 9 live sessions with interactive Q&A and chat features over the three mornings of the conference. If you are not able to watch these sessions live they will be recorded and playback will be available until January 31, 2021
  • Pre-Recorded Session: There will be 15 pre-recorded sessions that will be released 5 at a time each afternoon, these will be available to watch at your leisure and will be available until January 31, 2021. PLEASE NOTE: They are available longer than the 1-5 time on the schedule but we are not able to program them in like that!
  • Bonus Track Sessions: There will be 8 bonus track sessions available to all members and to any non-members that paid for the extra track. These will be available as pre-recordings and will be available from the start of the conference until January 31, 2021

I am an instructor and train emergency medical technicians and paramedics. All of our courses now are online because of Covid-19 pandemic, but we are training in small groups at a time to do hands-on skills and scenarios. I am particularly interested in ideas for turning normally instructor intensive hands-on skill teaching to online other than simply videoing examples. If anyone has ideas, would love to hear them. I am also instrumental in writing, and will be teaching courses in the Advanced Paramedic Bachelor of Science degree offered at Pueblo Community College. I am also finishing requirements for the Community Paramedic endorsement and would like to work in a part-time situation where I can help create or build a community paramedic program.
